Excelsior Solutions offers a full suite of pharmacy benefit consulting services to its clients including employers, health plans, health systems, and unions. Excelsior Solutions’ pharmacy consultants assists clients in determining the best PBM partner to meet their members’ needs through the RFP process, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that our clients’ PBM programs remain value-add through market checks and program analyses. In turn, our Pharmacy Audit Services team holds our clients’ PBM partners accountable to negotiated contract terms, guaranteed performance, and accuracy of plan design administration through a series of validation checks and comprehensive audit processes.

Excelsior Solutions’ Pharmacy Audit Services team is led by Vice President Marci Guillemette, an industry veteran of nearly 20 years who has served as both Senior Director for a top three PBM client audit support team as well as has led the pharmacy audit practice at a consulting firm. Marci’s experience on both sides of an audit provides a unique perspective that creates efficiencies in the audit process and lends itself to successful negotiation of audit outcomes. Marci and her team have over 35 years combined experience in assessing PBM adherence to contract terms and plan design requirements with our auditors having served in roles that include PBM client audit, prior authorizations, issue resolution, and account management.

Marci Guillemette, Vice President of Pharmacy Audit Services, has 20 years of experience as an analyst and leader. Previous positions include Senior Director of Commercial Audit at OptumRx and Director, Audit Services at Pharmaceutical Strategies Group. Marci’s areas of expertise include pharmaceutical auditing, change management, and process improvement. Marci earned her bachelor’s degree in business and French from Lake Forest College, her MBA in Finance and Leadership and Change Management from DePaul University and is a Certified Pharmacy Technician.
